XICLON is a boundary-pushing Mexican rock band from DFW fusing alternative hard rock and metalcore with traditional Norteño instrumentation anchored by accordion and bajo quinto. This blend forms the basis of their signature self-described “Mexican emo post-norteño-core” sound that speaks directly to the bicultural Mexican-American experience through cathartic emotion and cultural duality.

Named by Rolling Stone as one of the top discoveries at the 2025 Latin Alternative Music Conference, XICLON built their sonic foundation through all-original albums Desahogo and Índole Ido and sharpened their sound across 2026 through reinterpretations of Regional Mexican hits such as Iván Cornejo’s “Atención” and Pesado’s “A Chillar a Otra Parte.” Driven by an active live show and momentum building toward their third original studio album in 2027, XICLON stands firmly as a pioneering act in a growing scene of alternative Mexican music.
